The sculptures in Woodlandia are the work of a craftsman from the Indonesian island of Java.
He chooses every piece of driftwood by its natural shape and character. He never forces it — he patiently composes the parts until an animal takes shape.
Every piece is one of a kind; no two sculptures are ever the same. Wood that would otherwise go unnoticed gets a second life.
His work is admired by visitors around the world today, with many pieces in private collections and public spaces. He isn't chasing fame — he'd rather let the work speak for itself.
Selected sculptures from the artist's work can be purchased for private collections, gardens, parks, hotels or office spaces. Every sculpture is an original made of driftwood, carrying its own story.
We're happy to share more about available pieces and pricing.
